2023 NS Rods Sunline Bream Classic Grand Final

Final Results

Mallacoota Inlet was on fire for large numbers of hungry bream although those elusive big blue nose black bream were no where to be found.

For Team Sea Wasps Bowen Joiner and Ben Hanscombe they managed to put together 2 consistent days of fishing and took out the win with 10/10 bream for 9.360kg. In 2nd Place was Team Tornado Michael Hunt and Adam Brown who weighed in 10/10 bream for 8.580kg and in 3rd place was Team Humminbird Shaun Clancy and Jarod Healey with 10/10 bream weighing 8.160kg

The Sunline Best Bag went to Team Sea Wasps Bowen Joiner and Ben Hanscombe with a quality bag of 5/5 bream for 4.800kg

The JML Anglers Alliance Big Bream went to Team Fanatics Phil Hulsman and Ben Thompson who weighed in a quality bream weighing 1.15kg

The Hurricane Monster Movers Prize went to Team Minn-Kota Cameron Whittam and Warren Carter who weighed in a quality bag on Day 2 of 5/5 bream bag weighing 4.065kg moving them 18 places up the leader board to finish in 9th position.

The Shimano Junior Angler Prize went to Cooper Hodges from Team Berkley who finished in 4th place.

Shimano acknowledged the amazing year that young Mikey Vukic from Team Don the Sash had and his amazing sportsmanship in donating 3 of his junior angler prizes to new anglers by awarding him the Shimano Junior Angler of the Year Award. We need more young anglers like Mikey in the sport thats for sure.

Well thats a wrap for 2023. I would like to thank all the anglers who dedicate the time, energy, finances to total commitment to the sport as without your passion the series wouldn't be what it is today. A huge thanks to all our amazing Sponsors who support the sport that we love and provide the awesome prizes for anglers to take home and enjoy. The series couldn't possibly run without your continued support year after year. Finally a big thanks to all our accommodation provider and local hospitality provides that great us with open arms each year and make the anglers feel special as you make the weekend all the more enjoyable.

Be sure to keep your eyes out for the launch of the 2024 NS Rods Sunline Bream Classic Series with entries going live the first week of January 2024 and remember if you want to get involved in the series but don't feel your are good enough then forget that as you'll learn so much from this amazing group of anglers your fishing will improve out of sight in no time at all. If you have a young one under 12 and want to fish the series then you can have another adult in the team to help with them which makes an amazing opportunity to fish with your kids and with all the random draw prizes we draw at the Friday night briefing you're in with a great chance of walking away with a great prize just for entering.
